SPECIALIST, KNOWLEDGE NETWORKS AND ANALYSIS (Temporary 6 months)   The World Economic Forum, committed to improving the state of the world, is the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation.   The Forum engages the foremost political, business and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.   The Knowledge Networks and Analysis team manages the world’s foremost knowledge networks, comprising the Global Future Councils, Expert Network and Global University Leaders Forum, and supports their work to enhance strategic decision-making and shape global, regional and industry agendas.   The team is looking for a smart, energetic and imaginative Specialist who will be responsible for topic areas covering global, regional and industry transformations. She/he will work with key internal and external stakeholders to capture thought leadership in the area, and explore ways to increase the quality of collection and analysis of this knowledge and insight. The Specialist will also take on other projects and responsibilities as needed within the strategic framework governing the work of the Knowledge Networks and Analysis team, including but not limited to responsibilities leading up to, during and following World Economic Forum events.   Duties and Responsibilities Oversee the curation of thought leadership, covering global, regional and industry transformations Explore and highlight interlinkages between these global, regional and industry transformations, using Forum communities and events to capture emerging trends at the macro level and suggest ideas/methods for further exploration Work with Forum teams and external experts in academia, think tanks, government and industry to capture knowledge and insight from Forum communities and events; review and approve content generated by community experts Conduct research and analysis to identify key trends and their implications for industry and society, and their applicability to Forum communities Curate cutting-edge online content to provide an in-depth perspective on latest developments Ensure cooperation with internal and external partners, building strong relationships based on trust and professionalism • Help coordinate project and milestone planning Qualifications and Skills Master’s degree (or equivalent), ideally in economics, journalism, communication, or international affairs 1-6 years’ work experience in business, strategy consulting, journalism, academia, international organizations, project management; experience in the private or not-for-profit sectors is welcome Broad intellectual background with a strong understanding of relevant issues (global, regional or industry) Strategic thinking with ability to identify trends and patterns of transformation Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work with leading experts and practitioners Team player and self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Excellent written, digital and verbal communication skills with fluency in English Ability to communicate complex information succinctly both in writing and verbally Please apply online and provide us with your CV, the contact details of three references and a cover letter describing your motivations for applying.

Organized by Industry and/or Region, teams are responsible for building the world’s premier communities of business leaders to advance critical topics facing the industries through engagement with government, industry, regulatory and civil society leaders.   As part of the Marketing and Outreach team based in Geneva, the Head of Marketing Communications will be responsible for leading a small marketing team and planning cross-channel marketing communication strategies to foster optimal Forum member engagement.   Duties and Responsibilities Lead the development and improvement of digital and traditional marketing materials Help deliver communication strategies to maximise the engagement of Forum constituents (events, newsletters, digital engagement) Create and shape incisive and impactful narratives from a variety of documentation and collateral Proactively identify gaps and opportunities to improve the constituent journey with the Forum Define KPIs and analyse performance to continually optimize constituent engagement Ensure that the needs of internal stakeholders are captured and proactively managed Share campaign plans and results in a streamlined format to internal stakeholders Collaborate within the Marketing & Outreach team to share engagement marketing best practices with internal stakeholders Lead small marketing team across Geneva, New York and Beijing   Qualifications and Skills Master’s degree in business, marketing, communications or other relevant field 8-12 years of relevant industry experience in cross-channel campaign planning and execution (e.g. email, mobile, print, social), ideally in both B2B and B2C Superior command of the English language, both written and verbal; knowledge of other languages an advantage Demonstrable understanding of data-driven planning, segmentation, the constituent lifecycle, the constituent journey and key principles of engagement Ability to set KPIs, analyse campaign results and identify opportunities to optimize A clear understanding of the role of specific channels in the lifecycle communication mix (e.g. email, mobile, community, print, in person) Customer empathy and an enthusiasm for genuinely improving how to serve and engage people Ability to communicate and present complex ideas in a concise, clear manner Strong influencing skills and a hands-on mindset Ability to manage teams and collaborate across functions Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar software is a plus   If you meet these requirements, please apply online.

Events Team Coordinator

EVENTS TEAM COORDINATOR (1 year fixed-term contract)   The World Economic Forum, committed to improving the state of the world, is the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation.   The Forum engages the foremost political, business and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.   The Forum’s Events Management team organizes high-level, multistakeholder meetings, such as the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, which convenes global leaders to address the most relevant and pressing challenges.   As Coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating daily functions and operations of the Events Management team, contributing to the processes and practices that foster creativity, productivity and well-being.   Duties and Responsibilities Provide administrative support for senior leadership, and organizational support for the team, including arranging conference calls and meetings, managing travel plans, taking minutes, preparing PowerPoint presentations, crafting correspondence Provide project management support by preparing communications, timelines and tracking actions needed to achieve milestones and objectives for the team Work to develop team-related processes as required and act as a central point to share knowledge across the team, group and Forum Monitor progress and support timely delivery of internal and external commitments Provide end-to-end orchestration of logistics for team events Lead the on-boarding of new team members • Liaise closely with the Forum’s Programme team as part of global programming group and People and Culture team Coordinate the staff list management on specific events (quota, hotel allocation, coordination with internal teams for flight bookings) Provide administrative support on coordination of contracts and registration of interpreters on specific events Qualifications and Skills University degree in business, marketing, communications, hospitality, or related fields 6+ years professional experience, preferably in a support or coordination function in the private or public sector; experience in international and global organizations is a plus Proven experience providing organizational support for large cross-functional teams across different time zones High attention to detail, accuracy, ability to deliver and track progress against deadlines Demonstrated service attitude and ability to collaborate across portfolios and with people with different functions and expertise Basic project management skills including scheduling and reporting Ability to manage self and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English (written and spoken) and French (written and spoken) Strong digital skills and mindset, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office; knowledge of the Salesforce platform a plus   If you meet these requirements, please apply online and provide us with your CV and a cover letter describing your motivations for applying.
